Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Honest Quest, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit [honestquestcare.com] (the "Site").
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us. If you contact us using the email address listed on our Site, we receive whatever information you choose to include — typically your name, email address, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. Our Site is hosted on Squarespace, which automatically collects certain technical information from visitors, including browser type, device information, general network/location data, and pages visited. This helps us understand how visitors use our Site.
Cookies. Our Site uses cookies placed by Squarespace, our website platform. This includes necessary cookies required for the Site to function, and analytics/performance cookies that help us understand site traffic. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, and where available, through the cookie preference banner on our Site.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Respond to your inquiries about our services
Maintain and improve the functionality of our Site
Understand general site traffic and visitor activity
We do not use your information for any other purpose, and we do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling based on your data.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate our Site and respond to inquiries, specifically:
Squarespace (our website hosting and analytics provider)
Proton Mail (our email provider, used to receive and respond to your inquiries)
TherapyStack (our practice management platform, used for scheduling, client portal access, and — if you become a client — clinical and billing records)
Thrizer (an optional insurance benefits-check tool, if you choose to use it)
These providers process information on your behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security practices. Please review the privacy and security practices of each service provider listed above.
4. Insurance Benefit Check Tool (Thrizer)
Our Site includes an optional insurance benefits-check tool provided by a third party, Thrizer. If you choose to use this tool, you may be asked to provide information such as your insurance details (e.g., insurance card information) and date of birth so that Thrizer can estimate your out-of-network benefits.
This tool is operated by Thrizer, not by us. Information you enter into the widget is submitted directly to Thrizer's systems and is governed by Thrizer's Privacy Policy, not this one. We encourage you to review their policy before using the tool. Use of this tool is entirely optional — you are welcome to contact us directly instead if you'd prefer not to use it.
5. Client Portal / Booking Consult Online
Our Site includes a link to TherapyStack, a third-party practice management platform we use to manage scheduling, client intake, billing, and secure communication. Clicking buttons to book a consult or access the client portal takes you to TherapyStack's site or app, outside of our own website, where you can:
Book a consultation
Access your client/patient portal, including appointment scheduling, intake forms, secure messages, and billing information
Any information you enter on TherapyStack — including appointment details, intake forms, and other health information — is collected and stored by TherapyStack, not through this website. That information is governed by TherapyStack's own Privacy Policy and Terms, in addition to our own confidentiality obligations to you as a client. If you are an existing client, we maintain a Business Associate Agreement with TherapyStack governing how your protected health information is handled within that platform.
6. A Note on Sensitive Information
Please do not send sensitive personal information — such as Social Security numbers, financial account details, or detailed medical/health information — through our contact email. Standard email is not a fully secure communication channel, and while we use Proton Mail (which offers encryption) and follow safeguards consistent with HIPAA best practices in how we handle any health-related information we do receive, we cannot guarantee the security of information sent via email, particularly if you are emailing us from a non-encrypted email provider.
7. Data Retention
We retain inquiry emails for as long as necessary to respond to your request, maintain our business records, or comply with legal obligations. Information within TherapyStack and Thrizer is retained according to their own data retention practices and any applicable healthcare record-keeping requirements.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You may:
Ask us what information we have collected about you
Request that we delete information you've submitted to us
Opt out of non-essential cookies via your browser settings or our cookie banner (if enabled)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
